In The Classroom
Movement with purpose throughout the school day helps students of all ages stay on task and better focus, making for a happier and calmer learner — and classroom. Active seating packages, including stationary bikes, and toolkits are two of our signature programs.
Active Seating
Active seating—like under-desk pedals, accordion stools, balance disks, stability balls and stationary bikes—is a super popular entryway program. Teachers get it. Students get it. It’s tangible. The seating is our first step in building deeper relationships with our teachers and students to get moving to learn.
Having the freedom to move about at their desks while doing class work is a great way to increase focus to help them stay on task. It’s also a critical tool that gives students the power to overcome feelings that get in their way of learning, to promote social and emotional learning.
80% of teachers report that active seating helps their students’ social and emotional learning. And 75% of teachers report their students are more on task. That’s a huge deal. Students need every advantage—and active seating is at the top of the list.

Toolkits
Recognizing the need for teachers to have simple ways to get kids of all ages active right at their fingertips, the Move2Learn Toolkit contains fun, heart-rate elevating activities to do in the classroom.
The kits include teacher- or student-led activities and resources such as our signature fitness cube and fitness cards that prompt movement like jumping jacks, running in place and crunches. All items are translated into Spanish, Amharic and Arabic, the top three languages spoken in our schools outside of English.

Movement Challenges
We give teachers tools to get students moving – they put them into action during the M2L Movement Challenges. The challenges are 3-week competitions that promote movement based on Move2Learn’s brain boost videos. They involve thousands of students K-12 and encourage teachers to implement movement activities during class time throughout the day.
